In recognition of the outstanding efforts of CoAbode's support to single mothers throughout the country, Parenting Magazine, a leading Time, Inc. publication, held a special event in New York on December 10th, at the New York Palace Hotel's famed Le Cirque restaurant. CoAbode's accomplishments were lauded by notable presenter, Deborah Norville, Emmy-Award-Winning Journalist. At the end of the presentation the Founder of CoAbode, Carmel Sullivan, was asked to stand and be honored. CoAbode received a special recognition during the event in furtherance of its ongoing efforts to improve the resources and choices available to single mothers everywhere.
